What makes a good leader?

I believe a good leader is assertive but at the same time is open to suggestions. A good leader needs to address everyone’s opinions/suggestions but at the same time needs to be decisive. A good leader needs to be knowledgeable so he has a clear understanding of all issues and is respected by his or her team. A good leader should always stay calm and foresee problems before they occur. A good leader is also persistent and does not give up easily. Lastly, a good leader learns from failure instead of becoming paralyzed by it.
